1. Who we are
Yolo Driving is the website for Barbara Lo's driving coaching in Taiwan. This policy explains the information involved in using this website and making an enquiry. For privacy questions or requests, contact Barbara on LINE at @yolotw.
2. Information and its use
- Browsing information. The website's hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages, and connection times to deliver the site, diagnose problems, and protect it against misuse.
- Information you send. If you contact Barbara on LINE, the details you choose to share—such as your name, contact information, driving experience, and lesson preferences—are used to respond to your enquiry and discuss or arrange lessons.
- Booking information. Any additional information needed for a lesson or licensing application should be explained when the relevant arrangements are made. This website does not provide an online checkout or collect payment-card details.
Providing enquiry information is voluntary. Without enough information about your request, Barbara may be unable to recommend a suitable service or arrange a booking. Please do not send identity documents, medical information, or other sensitive records through the lesson finder.
3. The lesson finder
The lesson finder uses your selections in your browser to suggest a starting point. Its answers are not submitted to a server or saved in cookies, local storage, or an account by this site. The site currently has no advertising trackers or analytics integration.
“Copy My Plan” places the generated text on your clipboard only when you activate it. You choose whether to paste and send that text to Barbara. Opening the LINE contact popup does not send your answers. Its QR image is served from this website.
4. Course registration
The course registration form asks for your name, date of birth, ID card or ARC number, phone number, registered address, transmission choice, preferred start period, class time, and weekday preference. All nine fields are required to prepare a complete registration request. These details are used to process your request, contact you, and arrange the course and schedule.
Reviewing your details does not send them. Where online submission is enabled, choosing “Send registration request” sends them to a Cloudflare Worker, which validates the request and uses Cloudflare Email Service to email two designated registration inboxes, hosted by Gmail and the site administrator's email provider. Authorized people handling course registrations can access that message. This website does not save a separate database copy or place your registration details in URLs, local storage, or clipboard text. Email providers may retain the resulting messages under their own settings and policies.
Cloudflare Turnstile is used on the review step when online submission is connected to help prevent automated abuse. It processes technical browser and connection information for verification. If online sending is unavailable, the page says that your details have not been sent. You can contact Barbara on LINE instead. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
5. Third-party services
The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to request the font files, which involves information such as your IP address and request headers. See Google's explanation of font privacy.
When you open LINE or follow an external link, that service's own privacy terms apply. LINE handles messages and account information through its service; see the LINE Privacy Policy. Providers may process information outside Taiwan. Information shared with Barbara through LINE is also subject to the purposes described above.
Service providers involved in delivering the site or communications may process information for those purposes. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address a lawful request or protect someone's rights and safety.
6. Retention and security
Enquiry and booking information should be kept only for as long as needed to respond, provide the agreed service, maintain necessary records, or meet legal obligations. Retention within third-party services is also subject to their policies. You can contact Barbara about information held in connection with your enquiry.
Only share information necessary for your request. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so avoid sending sensitive documents until Barbara has confirmed why they are needed and how to provide them appropriately.
7. Your choices and rights
Where Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act applies, you may request access to or a copy of your personal information, ask for corrections, request that collection or use stop, or request deletion, subject to applicable legal requirements. Contact Barbara on LINE at @yolotw and describe your request. Verification may be needed before information can be released or changed.
You can browse without contacting Barbara and can choose not to send the lesson-finder plan. Your browser's settings can also control access to your clipboard and third-party resources.
8. Updates and contact
